PA to Managing Partner

£50,000 full time

Bromley, SE London - office based

Our client based on the outskirts of London are seeking an experienced PA / Legal Assistant, to provide organisational and communication support to the Managing Partner - with a dotted line to People & Culture Director and members of the Investors in People Senior Project Team members.

Requirements

  • Discreet, practical, organised and pragmatic.
  • A team player, always wanting to go the extra mile
  • PA / Legal secretarial working knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and with the ability to think ahead.
  • An interest in people, processes, and culture
  • An ability to prioritise workload and with a flexible approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

REPORTING TO MANAGING PARTNER

  • To diarise all Board meetings: including but not limited to regular Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings and Operation Committee (Op Board) Meetings
  • To attend all Board meetings (as above) and to take the minutes for subsequent review by MD pre distribution to attendees.
  • To distribute all pre-read material as appropriate prior to relevant Board meetings
  • To ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
  • To provide clients with help and support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s client care standards and to undertake call management.
  • File management of online documents and correspondence

REPORTING INTO PEOPLE & CULTURE DIRECTOR (DOTTED LINE) AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE INVESTORS IN PEOPLE PROJECT TEAM

  • Minute / notetaking at all overall Project IIP meetings (monthly) and for each of the individual IIP Project Workstreams as appropriate.
  • Diarising internal meetings for each of the IIP Project Workstreams (incl. booking meeting rooms, setting up tech, arranging lunch as well as external venues as necessary)
  • Supporting with the preparation and diary management of quarterly all staff Company Meetings (SQM 2.0) and other bi-annual employee events and with the preparation of PowerPoint slides as necessary.
