We are recruiting for an Oracle EBS Functional Specialist R2R experienced in working as part of a multi-skilled team responsible for supporting, developing and delivering projects for the Oracle EBS system. This will be on an initial 6 month contract, hybrid working with travel to London and Outside IR35.

Job Description

The Oracle EBS Functional Specialist R2R will be working as part of a multi-skilled global team responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering projects for the Oracle EBS system.

The Key responsibilities of the role:

• Working closely with similar Oracle EBS experts to deliver projects.
• Business partnering with stakeholders especially the record to report area.
• Provide, review, and implement solutions specifically to the record to report area.
• Understand the Accounting technical requirement and translate that into a functional or technical solution to meet the requirements.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert for Projects impacting Oracle EBS R2R processes.
• Working with the outsourced service provider to enhance the processes. The outsourced company manage all EBS incidents and BAU requests.
• Answering ad-hoc user queries
• Provide escalation support for Oracle EBS record to report activities.
• Manage small projects/ enhancements.
• Guide Business users on development and "best practice" options.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Finance modules including modules General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS)
• Full-cycle project management experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Finance experience with a demonstrable technical focus.
• Detail & service-oriented self-starter able to effectively prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work to policies and procedures.
• Ability to adapt, learn and evolve in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within strict timetables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Experience working in a Finance or IT Finance Support / Implementation role.
• A formal Oracle qualification would be desirable.
