Optical Lab Technician - Tottenham Court Road

Lunaria Recruitment are looking for a technical skilled worker (Optical Lab Technician)who has an attention for detail, compassion and can utilise your strong ophthalmic knowledge, then this is the perfect job for you.

Opportunity: Being a lab technician, you may be able to proceed onto the leadership team as a manager and climb the ladder in the future. You can carve the success of your organisation and give brilliant customer service.

Responsibilities: Your role will be a lab technician within this practice. During this time, you will be responsible for all the glazing, as well as overseeing the stock levels, informing customers of their order(s) status and maintaining the equipment.

  • Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
  • Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
  • Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
  • Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations

Requirements: In order to be suitable for this position, you will need to be an experienced lab technician who is able to use machinery and glaze to all levels, including rimless. You must be able to self-motivate, be very organised and have an eye for detail.
