A great opportunity to join a market-leading life sciences firm. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. We are looking to recruit several Operations technicians in the Inverness area on a full-time ongoing temporary basis. You will work 12-hour shifts 7 to 7, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, alternating between day shift on one rotation and then night shift the next.

You will be working as a Laboratory Technician on a temporary assignment for approximately 4 months with the possibility of being extended thereafter, based in Inverness. Your new role
As an Operations Technician, you will work as part of a team to use equipment for assembly and processing tasks producing LifeScan's glucose monitoring products. You will assist with setting up equipment, quality control inspections and cleaning of the equipment as required. You will play a key role in the organisation notifying your supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed on equipment and helping to ensure production targets are met. This will include preparing accurate records/documentation of the work in progress.
What you'll need to succeed
No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
For this role, you will be able to communicate and accurately convey information both verbal and written. You will have the ability to build sound technical knowledge of assigned processes and accurately absorb and follow technical instructions. You will take personal responsibility and accountability as required to maintain the process EHS, Quality, Yield and Throughput. You will be able to adhere to departmental and company GMP guidelines and operating procedures. You will have the ability to work in a team setting, contributing to both your team, and the organisation's success.
