Role Overview:
As a Site Foreman/Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of shop fitting projects. Your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate various trades will contribute to the timely and efficient completion of our clients’ spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Coordinate and manage all on-site activities related to shop fitting projects.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and decorators.
- Delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular site meetings to review progress and address any issues.
- Health and Safety:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any concerns promptly.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Address any defects or issues promptly and proactively.
- Communication:
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address queries.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials, and site activities.
Requirements:
- Min 10 years experience in shopfitting, highly capable joiner
- 5 years experience leading/running retail & F&B projects
- Must be fluent in English
- Has an excellent manner, polite and capable of communicating effectively with clients
- Full driving license
- SMSTS
- Ideally local to Central London (where most of our work is)
- Willing to travel at short notice and for long periods
