Operational Finance Director

One of my NHS clients in North London are looking to recruit a Operational Director of Finance on a 9 months minimum contract.

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage the Senior Finance Team, covering financial management, financial services, income,contractingandcosting,providingleadershiponkeyoperationalandstrategic issues.

Operational lead for the Trust's finance function providing effective and professional leadership ofthe Department and supporting the Director of Finance in the formulation of Trust anddepartmentalstrategies.

Oversee the production of the annual accounts and the annual budget setting process, together withmonthlymanagementaccountsandfinancialreportingpacks.

The management of all financial services, plus responsibility for all financial systems anddevelopment, financial controls, all corporate reporting and accounting, internal and external auditsandfinancialaspectsofriskmanagement andnon-clinical claims.

To be the financial lead for the financial turnaround , managing the ProjectManagement Office (PMO) leading the evaluation of plans and supporting divisions in developingtheirefficiencyplans.

Deputise across the full range of duties undertaken by the Director of Finance as required in theportfolioshighlightedin theorganisationchart below.
