Location: Norwich, NR15 2BP and Diss IP22 5TZ
Salary: SCP12 - £26,421 - SCP17 £28,770 FTE per annum (Hourly Rate Equivalent £13.69 - £14.91 per hour) (Pro Rata £18,650 - £20,672 per annum)
Hours: Term time + 1

In their 2021 Ofsted inspection both schools were rated "good" "with a positive climate where pupils and staff feel valued and supported".
The Role
They have a fantastic opportunity available for a new pro-active and diligent Office Manager to join the teams at Burston and Tivetshall Primary Schools on a permanent basis.
The Office Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the reception area mainly based at Burston sites, communicating with staff, parents and students on a range of issues, as well as providing general administrative support to the school and headteacher. The successful candidate will be required to split some of their time between both schools at the Headteacher’s discretion.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career within an independent environment. The term time + 1 contract also allows for plenty of flexibility within school holidays.
Skills & Experience
The professional competencies expected of an Office Manager are:
- The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team
- Be able to multi-task and work under pressure in a customer facing environment
- Be flexible and resilient in managing and executing their daily responsibilities
- Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills
- Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions
- The ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges
The professional competencies expected of an Office Manager are:
- Have good communication skills in person and in writing to respond to staff, parents and students
- Be flexible in managing and planning and executing daily, weekly and monthly workloads in a busy reception
- Be able to maintain confidentiality and committed to providing the best possible service to the staff, governors, students and parents
The qualifications and experience required of an Office Manager are:
- Be familiar with the use of Information and Communications Technology
- Have a sound track record of successful administrative experience
- Hold a GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics
- Hold a Level 2 or above in Business Administration (Desirable)
