Office and Onboarding Coordinator

  • Location: Keele, Staffordshire
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
    • Can be worked over 4 or 5 days per week.
  • Salary: £24,395 + up to 5% bonus
  • Duration: 9 months (FTC)
  • Start date: 13th May 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic Office and Onboarding Coordinator to join our team at Adecco's Career Centre (ACC). As the Office and Onboarding Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day functioning of our Keele office, while also spearheading the onboarding process for new hires. You will drive a positive and inclusive office culture by organising office events, promote celebration and recognition, and charity fundraising activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration

  • Managing centralised Email inbox.
  • Administration rights for Internal Testing system.
  • Coordinating Parking passes and Visitor access.
  • Act as central contact point for ACC.
  • Reporting business support updates within the ACC.
  • Onboarding any internal ACC Colleagues.

Office coordination

  • Ordering Office Equipment.
  • Managing Invoices and office stock.
  • Room bookings and Desk Bookings.
  • Maintenance of Access passes.
  • Managing returns of laptops.
  • Promoting Office engagement and inclusion.

Health and Safety:

  • Completing H&S audits.
  • Organising fire marshal, first aid, evac chair cover and training.
  • Working alongside facilities to report and schedule building repairs and maintenance.

Social & communications

  • Managing internal recognition communications.
  • Promoting Events within the ACC and wider Adecco Group.
  • Updating ACC Social Platforms.
  • Engaging with charity partners and organising fundraising events.
  • Supporting with webinars and town halls.

Events management

  • Booking venues & arranging entertainment/food/drink.
  • Preparing the office.
  • Welcoming and looking after office visitors (local & global).

Skills & Experience:

Required

  • Previous experience working in a busy and vibrant office.
  • Experienced in Business Support tasks.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A passion for developing an inclusive and dynamic office culture.
  • An eye for detail and a creative flair.

Desired

  • Experience purchasing office supplies.
  • Organising corporate events.
  • Prior experience conduction H&S Audits.
  • Onboarding internal new starters.
