Overview:

Are you looking to develop with a forward-thinking business? As our business is going through an exciting period of growth, the team are currently looking for someone to work closely with the team to support the smooth running of the business by assisting with administrative duties.

Based in Nottingham, Critical Shipments are a leading delivery company, specialising in supporting our clients with time-critical shipments across the UK and internationally. Each member of the team plays a vital role in the success of our mission of providing the best service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Inputting data from paper records onto our new digital portal.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of documents and information.
  • Cross-referencing data to ensure records are accurate.
  • Creating and managing spreadsheets and purchase orders.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls and emails.
  • Additional administrative duties to support the team.

Skills & Attributes we're looking for:

  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong spoken and written communication.
  • Open-minded and positive attitude.
  • Reliable and honest.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and able to contribute new ideas.
  • IT Literate (Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Familiar with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides (desirable).
  • A full, clean UK driver’s license (not required but advantageous)

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
