Ocean Imports Supervisor

Reed Supply Chain & Procurement are now supporting an extremely busy Freight Forwarder in their search for an Import Supervisor. 

This is a new requirement for them, ideally you will already have experience in a similar Import Supervisor role in order to hit the ground running and be a buffer between the existing team and the Directors.  You should have experience in the China and India markets, mainly Ocean with a small amount of Air/Road. 

Duties will include;

• Supervising a small, efficient team

• Start to finish process
• Receiving Pre-Aerts from Overseas Partners
• Booking jobs to our internal System
• Liaising with clients to collect any required documents.
• Preparing documents for customs clearance
• Arranging Deliveries
• Invoicing

What I need from you;

Experience in a similar role

Ocean Import background

Knowledge of the China & Indian market

Natural problem solver

Leadership skills

Excellent Customer Service skills

High level of accuracy

Knowledge of the CDS system
