Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and grow current customer base, cross selling across our other market bases.
• Complete the end-to-end process for all ocean export consignments (FCL & LCL).
• Liaise with overseas agents, Merchant haulage, and shipping lines.
• Ability to look over customs documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, BOLs.
• Liaise with our clearing agents to complete custom entries.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate where support is needed.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to arrange carriage of goods to various worldwide destinations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working for a Freight Forwarder in the UK on Deep Sea. Airfreight knowledge preferred but not essential.
• Ocean/Deep-Sea Experience
• Customs experience.
• Experience in Key Account Management experience.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
