Based in Odstock, we are looking to recruit a qualified Practitioner to join a busy, friendly and vibrant nursery.

We are looking for people who can work full time hours over Monday to Friday.

Main Duties:

  • Providing a safe, stimulating and educational environment for all the children to grow, develop, learn and play
  • Creating activities that are interesting and imaginative so the children can learn through play
  • Building relationships with key children and reporting on their progress
  • Updating records and achievements for the children and feedback to parents
  • Encourage and motivate children to express themselves through various creative play
  • Taking an active involvement with additional activities such as parents evening, open days, training and team meetings
  • Following instructions from the Room leader and assisting them in the running of the room

Person Spec

  • A passion and enjoyment of working with young children
  • Hold an NVQ or equivalent Level 2 and above
  • A vibrant, fun personality with a flexible and calm approach
  • A proactive approach to build strong working relationships with the teams
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • A passion and enjoyment of working with young children
  • Have the ability to safeguard and protect children

Location : Odstock

Salary : £23795 - £26310 per annum

Hours : 40 - 42.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday
