Nursery Manager | Immediate Start | Maternity Cover | Walthamstow

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner for a manager role at a setting in Walthamstow.

The role is starting as soon as possible, we are looking for someone with some previous management experience in a nursery or Early Years centre.

The job role will be the running the nursery as the main manager, responsibilities will include:

  • To lead and manage the Nursery including the staff team
  • Support the policies and ethos of the Nursery
  • Promote high levels of Early Years achievement
  • Work alongside other members of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Plan and deliver activities for the children
  • Day to day nursery management operations- previous experience required
  • Overseeing he Early Years curriculum
  • Promote the health and well-being of all children in the nursery.

Please be aware that applicants must have the following:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification that counts towards child/adult ratios

under most recent guidelines

  • Relevant safeguarding/child protection training
  • Leadership and Management experience under the EYFS framework, either

as a manager or deputy manager
