Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant will include:

  • You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management

  • You must safeguard children

  • Creating inviting activities for the children in your care

  • Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners

  • You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required

  • You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children

These are some of the requirements that we need to get you cleared:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

  • At least 6 months experience working with children (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • A true passion to work with children

  • Able to display sensitivity and patience

  • CACHE L2/L3 or direct nursery experience preferred

  • Good knowledge of EYFS
