Nightshift Engineer

We’re partnered with a leading maintenance provider and they’re looking to add a Nightshift Engineer to their team in Canary Wharf.

Main duties

  • To identify, diagnose, and rectify faults, performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • As a Night Shift Engineer, Execute routine servicing, repair, and adjustment of machinery or equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans designated by the Engineering Supervisor/ BSM's.
  • Employ a flexible approach to encompass additional skills or trades, prioritising cost-effective completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Perform other skilled duties upon demonstration of competence.
  • Monitor designated plant equipment and meticulously document data as per provided protocols.
  • Ensure optimal plant and equipment efficiency by meticulously adhering to prescribed requirements and instructions for each task.
  • Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organisation in work areas, promptly removing refuse and waste materials as required.
  • Fulfill any reasonable duties as assigned by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Full time apprenticeship in an electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline complete with City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certification.
  • Prior experience working within a commercial building doing M&E building maintenance
  • 18th edition is highly desirable
  • Previously worked as a Night Shift Engineer
