Network Systems Engineer (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

Company Overview:

I am currently assisting a well valued client of mine located in the Warrington area that are seeking to add to their Development Team. They are dedicated to delivering a professional and polished service and a range of different products to their clients with the customers journey at the forefront of their work.

Opportunity:

My client is looking to expand their team and seeking a versatile and experienced Network Systems Engineer that specialises in Linux / Python to join them in their Warrington office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days onsite). This role offers a chance to contribute to their dynamic environment and grow alongside them. The vision is that this individual with be a key member of the team assisting the support and maintenance of network infrastructure and offering a wealth of experience to the more junior members of the team.

Essential Skills:

· Vast and Demonstrable knowledge within Linux based systems (Debian based distros desirable but not essential)

· Experience within infrastructure automation ideally working with Puppet (Current automation tool) but other transferable tools will be considered

· Knowledge and understanding of Python based automation would be a clear advantage within this position

· A solid understanding in IP and Networks, whilst expertise isn’t desired for this position without an understanding of IP and Networks it wouldn’t be an environment for you to flourish

· Commercial experience working with Kubernetes and / or Docker

Responsibilities:

· Supporting and maintaining Network and Infrastructure functions within the likes of Radius, DNS and service assurance functions

· At times you will be taking a lead on individual projects and delivering them when required

· Supporting and maintaining a Linux Infrastructure from the servers hosted on it to their visualisation cluster
