Network Engineer
Manchester / Hybrid
Up to £55,000 per annum

We're looking for a Network Architect for UK recognised multi-franchise dealer group founded in Manchester.

As an experienced network architect you will be working within a busy network centric team supporting networking projects across the business.

Out client is looking for a candidate with a deep understanding of Fortinet and Cisco routing and switching technologies to NSE 4 and CCNP.

Core Responsibilities:

* Design, deployment and support of Fortinet firewalls including FortiManager, FortiAnalyser & FortiNAC
* Design, deployment and support of Cisco switches and routers
* Design, deployment and support of Meraki switches, security devices and wireless devices.
* The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current network environment
* The configuration, implementation and support of firewalls, routing, switching and wireless environments
* 3rd line network support for complex incidents and problems and more,

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

* Strong knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure Security (ACLs, ACS, VRFs, Vlans)
* Strong knowledge and understanding of network management tools (SNMP, Solarwinds, PRTG)
* Strong knowledge and understanding of MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN and resilient WAN technologies
* Strong knowledge and understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
