Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's largest food businesses, supplying chicken and turkey to the nation's most popular supermarkets and restaurants., the company in question are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Elec Bias.

Job Role:
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. Maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment throughout their factory.

Typical Duties will involve:

  • Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Carrying our planned preventative maintenance
  • Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
  • Improving equipment reliability, stamping out recurring faults.
  • Ensuring "audit ready" records are kept.

Desirable experience

  • Previous experience as a multi-disciplined Engineer.
  • Must have a relevant engineering qualification electrical preferably.
  • An electrical bias with sound mechanical knowledge.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.
  • The ability to read advanced electrical / mechanical drawings on new machinery.
