Motor Vehicle Technician

Are you a certified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in the picturesque setting of Bermuda? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their dealership team.

What you'll be doing

• Perform thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Document technical findings and provide estimates as required
• Utilise manufacturer service manuals and technical resources for guidance
• Actively seek training and development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise
• Offer technical recommendations for diagnostics and conduct test drives as needed
• Strive for continuous improvement in operations and customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Fulfil other ad hoc duties as required

Here's how the role aligns with your profile

• City & Guilds qualifications at level 3 (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of post-apprenticeship mechanical experience
• Proficient knowledge of fundamental automotive components
• Experience with electric vehicle technology is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, technicians, and manufacturers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid clean driver's licence
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

What does this opportunity give you?
