MOT Tester / Diagnostic Technician

£40k plus (depending on experience)

Weston-Super-Mare

Permanent, Full Time

Monday to Friday (8am - 5.30pm) / Saturdays on a rota paid as overtime

Our client, a family run independent Service & Repair Centre business based in the Weston-Super-Mare area are currently looking for an MOT tester/Diagnostic Technician to join their busy workshop team. This role will consist of carrying out MOT inspections as well as diagnostics and repair work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy. You should be highly organised, conscientious and with a strong work ethic, completing jobs to a very high standard along with all associated documentation. Striving to ensure the best standard of work with the very best level of customer service.

Requirements:-

  • Active MOT License
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Passion for the Automotive industry
  • Drive and determination
  • 5 years’ minimum experience within the motor trade

As an MOT Tester/Diagnostic Technician, you should be competent in diagnostics and repair, including electrical and diesel faults. Working to an efficiency and completing jobs to a high standard and on time.

Being able to carry out:

  • Diagnostics
  • Cambelts
  • Clutches
  • Servicing
  • General repairs
  • MOTs
