We are seeking experienced Mortgage Underwriters to join a super client based in Surrey. You will be working within the BTL market and applicants must have strong experience within complex and portfolio BTL, Ltd Company, SPV etc.

You will be tasked with assessing loan applications to ensure that all relevant documentation is received and reviewed, and that eligibility is checked against company standards and criteria.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake appraisal of applications received and submit recommendations, as to underwriting checks to be undertaken, to either the Assistant Manager or Head of Loans Underwriting
  • Case ownership from Application through to Offer. Drive application to offer times by tracking the mortgage pipeline within the SLA
  • Produce Loan Offers in compliance with the Lending Policy and laid down procedures, for submission to and approval by the Assistant Manager/Head of Loans Underwriting

The salary for this Mortgage Underwriter role is to £40,000 with benefits including annual company bonus, pension, life and health benefits and career and study support. Although you will be required to attend HO in Epsom for initial mandate training, hybrid working will be available once completed allowing 4 days pw WFH.
