I am pleased to be representing an estabished IFA firm in Torquay, who offer a friendly and supportive working environment and have their clients best interests at heart. 

They have a unique opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator to assist a successful Mortgage Advisor, there is also the opportunity for this role to support with IFA admin also, so if you are already a Mortgage admin looking to bolster on your exisiting skills or a Financial Service Administrator and keen to learn mortgages, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Duties

  1. Progress mortgages through to legal completion and beyond.
  2. Liaise with Mortgage Advisers to ensure appraisal on the progress of mortgage cases and resolving any queries arising.
  3. Monitoring client emails, account management of repeat clients.
  4. Act as the first port of call for queries from clients, lenders and conveyancers.
  5. General office administration duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying and answering the telephone.
  6. Support with marketing activities as required.
  7. Updating and maintaining systems and files.
  8. Working with advisors to ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Experience and qualifications

  1. Proven administration experience within a mortgage or financial services environment.
  2. Excellent communication and customer services skills.
  3. Excellent computer skills including database set-up and maintenance, Microsoft office including excel and word.
  4. Attention to detail and experience of working with prescribed systems and procedures.
  5. Self-motivated and professional individual.

Other information

  1. Salary, negotiable depending on experience.
  2. Office based position in Torquay.
