This remarkablw law firm we are working with is currently seeking a highly qualified Mid-Level Associate to join their esteemed Debt Finance group based in London.

They are looking for someone with specific expertise in representing a diverse clientele, including private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders.

About the Role

  • In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating various financial transactions, such as term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth initiatives.
  • You will also be expected to provide legal support and counsel to clients, including private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders, on a variety of debt finance transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents in accordance with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis to assess legal and financial risks associated with proposed transactions.
  • Assist with the structuring and execution of term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Senior Attorneys to develop innovative solutions to complex legal issues arising in debt finance transactions.

About You

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Additionally, they should demonstrate proficiency in navigating the complexities of these transactions while ensuring the best interests of their clients are upheld.
  • Candidates applying for associate positions are expected to have exceptional academic credentials and relevant experience gained in a comparable law firm environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
