Mechanical Technician

- Responsible for performing a whole range of scheduled maintenance tasks combining calibrations and inspections on all items of mechanical process equipment in accordance with site procedures, as well as completion and processing of associated documentation
- Perform repairs on faults and breakdowns in a safe, orderly and timely manner
- Perform all scheduled mechanical services within maintenance system.
- Assist with Instrument - Calibrations of all instrument types, loop tests, alarm tests etc
- Monitor service and maintain all utilities and services from a mechanical perspective.
- Perform all regulatory and statutory system tests including fire and sprinkler systems as required.
- Make prompt and effective unscheduled repairs and fault diagnosis in line with production demands.
- Attend all relevant training and study sessions as required.
- Perform isolations and carry out work in accordance with PTW system.
- Completion of other duties as and when required to fulfil the workload of the department.
- To participate in a variety of interdepartmental activities which may affect and relate to the Maintenance Department.
