Mechanical Process Engineer
Our client, a well established manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Process Engineer to their manufacturing team. The successful Process Engineer will have responsibility for all people issues, manufacturing and process issues across the site. Process Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
* Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with the assigned production schedule
* Ensure tools, parts, jigs etc, are prepared and maintained for smooth operation of your section
* Liaise with maintenance in relation to machine breakdowns
* Adhere to lean standards and train operatives in 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, etc
* Adhere to TPM plan to ensure OEE meets KPI
Process Engineer - Skills & Abilities
* HND / Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience for a manufacturing business
* Experience of plastics industry: injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion
* Awareness of lean and continuous improvement: %s, Kanban, Kaizen, etc
* Appreciation of quality (ISO9001) and EHS (14001, 18001) standards
