My client is one of the UK’s leading processing & recycling companies, specialising within eco-friendly/recyclable paper and cardboard, to supply their clients with processed materials for remanufacturing. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having over 40 years of experience. The Scunthorpe site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure group.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

The ideal will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules within a high speed FMCG environment. The successful candidate will be multi skilled and will be responsible for maintenance on machinery and the site facilities. Candidates from packaging/FMCG will have a distinct advantage. Machinery includes motors, pumps, pulpers, vac pumps, ovens, conveyors, and drives. There is a good variety of machinery to work on, offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
