Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - £42,000 – Shepherds Bush

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a prestigious static site-based university contract in Shepherds Bush, London.
This is a great role for anyone with commercial mechanical maintenance experience looking for a full-time role within a friendly engineering team.

**£42,000 PER ANNUM**

Day to Day Duties
  • PPMs, Reactives, UPS and AHU, FCU, Pumps, motors and general plumbing maintenance
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
  • Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues
  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client
  • Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing with certificates.
  • Maintenance skills
  • Experience with PPM’s on commercial systems
  • Steady and progressive work history
  • Experienced in work on large scale building services applications
Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week

Career Progression Route
  • From this role you could progress into a Supervisor position if desired
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Commercial mechanical maintenance experience in a customer facing environment would be ideal.
