Mechanical Estimator - Retirement Homes, MOD/MOJ and Commercial projects - South Lincolnshire


A M&E Building Services Contractor are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to be based from their office in South Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity join an expanding office for a well-established business.

They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including MOJ, MOD, Retirement Homes and Commercial / Industrial.

As the Mechanical Estimator you will work within an established estimating team preparing mechanical estimates of values from £250,000 to £10m. The position is open to range of experience and will be reflected on the salary on offer depending on experience.

The Mechanical Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities:
· Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard.
· Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from mechanical specialists.
· Liaising with other members of the estimating team and project managers.
· Carry out estimates using electronic packages.
· Develop working relationships with in-house and external design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
· Experience within in similar position as Mechanical Estimator.
· Mechanical qualifications.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Confident communicator.
