Mechanical Engineering Technician Maintenance

It's not often you get the opportunity to work for an organisation making a difference globally with their world class research so if you are a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) ideally with experience in boilers, steam, plumbing and air handling, this is a role not to be missed!

You should have a minimum of a NVQ Level 2 in an Engineering qualification as well as building maintenance experience but training will be provided on the specific plant equipment as required.

Working as part of a multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure operational service and compliance.

The role will also involve an on-call rota, approximately one week in every nine.

In return, you will receive:

• A basic salary of £25,175 - £26,500 PLUS £4,000 recruitment and retention allowance. In addition, an On-Call allowance of £3,000 per annum once trained and competent.
• 25 days + bank holidays as well as time off between Christmas and New Year
