Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Taunton - Permanent

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a multi skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance engineer for their client in Taunton.

Hours of work

38 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm Friday 8.00am - 12.00pm

Early finish every Friday, no shift work, no on call, no weekend working.

Salary

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum which equates to an hourly rate of pay range of £17.71 - £20.24 per hour

The Role

Working in a small team reacting to machine breakdowns, planned maintenance focusing on the mechanical and electrical functions of the machinery used. assisting with continuous improvements, which include the installation of new machinery and changes to the factory layout.

You must hold a City and Guilds HNC or HND equivalent qualification. You need to have both mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. Dealing with repairs and breakdowns. Fault finding and finding the solutions to problems which will include making and repairing parts. PAT Testing the equipment and machinery.
