Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Chichester, West Sussex area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing manufacturing drawings whilst working in a project-based environment.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
  • Creation of manufacturing drawings and calculations
  • Reviewing and analysing project specifications
  • Generating technical documentation such as operating and maintenance manuals
  • Preparing Bill of Materials with the use of an ERP system
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Design related subject
  • Based in a commutable distance of Chichester, West Sussex
  • Experience with the following software's is desirable: Solidworks, DriveWorks, AutoCAD & ERP systems
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Starting salary £28,000 - £30,000 (+10% annual bonus)
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
  • Holiday allowance and pension
