Job Overview:

My client are seeking a highly organised and proactive MDT Coordinator to join a dynamic healthcare team. The MDT Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, ensuring seamless coordination among various healthcare professionals involved in patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate MDT meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate discussions during MDT meetings, ensuring that all relevant information is shared and decisions are documented.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient cases discussed during MDT meetings, including treatment plans, outcomes, and follow-up actions.
  • Act as a central point of contact for MDT members, addressing queries and providing support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline MDT processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on relevant healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices related to MDT coordination.
