Materials Planner

Pod Talent are excited to be working with a global leader operating within the food category on a Material Planner position based in the Buckinghamshire, 2-3 days a week.

In this role you will be responsible for managing material inventory levels and working cross functionally with various internal and external stakeholders such as NPD teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers.

In this role you will…

• Develop a long-term material requirement for assigned suppliers/ material and develop long term planning strategy
• Manage significant material availability challenges across multiple UK sites and lead communication to business contacts across impacted customers.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationship with NPD, procurement, and supply functions in order to ensure that the monthly planning cycle delivers for the business and has the right level of governance across the end-to-end process.
• Overall ownership of a portfolio of materials planning across the full UK network

Here are a few of the key qualities we are looking for!

• 1+ years' of experience in supply planning position within FMCG/Food industry
• A strong communicator with experience working with materials/ suppliers/ manufacturers
• Driven and excited individual who is keen to progress and grow their career
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP Systems / SAP APO
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
