Initially focusing on plant sales, we've expanded our horizons over the years, delving into plant hire and auctions along with an extensive commercial and residential property portfolio. We're looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team and drive brand awareness and presence across our diverse offerings and services. This is a rare opportunity to join an established national business and have a direct and tangible input into our continued growth.

We need someone who thrives in the midst of action and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. From marketing campaign creation, the development of brochures and signage to driving the business through our social channels and everything in between, this role offers a varied range of responsibilities and challenges.

The below responsibilities are an overview of the work that needs to be done to ensure our presence and reputation in the market. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct and coach a small team to deliver against the objectives of the marketing function whilst ensuring exceptional customer experience
  • Imagine, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Manage email marketing and database, leveraging insights for targeted outreach
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns both online and offline, optimising reach and impact
  • Conduct analytics reporting and analysis to inform future strategies and decisions
  • Oversee signage and rebrand management, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Serve as the brand guardian for all entities and divisions of Morris Leslie, maintaining brand integrity and identity
  • Develop marketing materials including design, copywriting, and preparation for print and distribution
  • Curate and manage social media profiles and content across various platforms, engaging with our audience effectively
  • Coordinate seasonal events, from logistic planning to the design and build of trade show stands
  • Manage external agencies for web development, PPC, SEO, and other specialised services
  • Maintain and update the company website using WordPress CMS, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Prepare tender documents, trading agreements, and presentations for senior leaders and their teams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in a hands-on capacity.
  • Strong design skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking with a keen eye for detail.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts during busy show seasons.
  • People management skills would be advantageous.

Location and hours:

Based in our newly refurbished office in Perth, you'll work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with 35 hours per week. Flexibility is offered through our flexi-time policy, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments effectively.
