Are you a passionate Marketing Communications Manager seeking an exciting interim opportunity, working for a corporate global brand? 

A great opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager has arisen to join a world-renowned and innovative brand on a 12 month maternity cover basis.  

This senior marketing role will drive brand and profit delivery for the business, and as the successful candidate you will own the  brand and customer journey strategies, tactics and operations across national, dealer, social and digital marketing to drive awareness, consideration and desire for the brand in order to achieve commercial sales objectives.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the Marketing Communications team including the line-management, coaching, leadership and development of direct reports 
  • Represent the business at senior forums including meetings, working groups and marketing reviews on all matters relating to marketing communications.
  • Lead the deployment of sophisticated customer journeys that will allow customers across media, websites, social media and dealer marketing. Conduct continuous customer journey reviews to minimise cost per lead and maximise ROI.
  • Consider both current and future customer journey needs, including supporting the delicate balance between selling via a Dealer Network or online, and lead the brand in the development of future retailing models through keeping abreast of customer expectations and emerging innovations and trends. 
  • As a ‘player-manager’ you will undertake operational as well as strategic activity from across your portfolio of marketing channels. You will;
    • Expertly deliver high value paid media briefs.
    • Develop and maintain website content.
    • Plan and curate organic social media propositions.
    • Deliver content and creative for broadcast, digital and CRM channels in addition to the adaptation of a European asset toolkits.
    • Lead on localisation of national marketing initiatives to create a ‘best in industry’ dealer marketing toolkit.
  • Lead and motivate your direct reports, a substantial agency structure and multiple stakeholders to deliver against your strategic objectives. Actively foster collaboration, innovation and forward thinking from your team to ensure the brand is ‘Industry leading’ in its output. 
  • Work with Communication team members across all businesses to develop practical synergies which embrace prospects within our diverse and unique brand. 
  • Working together with the PR & Events Manager to create a strategy to generate a positive brand and product awareness using a range of channels and mechanisms as well as promoting new product launches and innovation.

Profile 

To succeed in this role, you will have strong leadership skills with the ability to share vision and positively engage a team and substantial agency structure in delivering high-quality results.  You will be financially and commercially astute with previous experience of significant budget management.
