This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional person to help shape the future of the company. The ideal person will have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar capacity and will be confident at developing a team, building an enviable company culture and developing top talent.

The successful person will be creative with a proven track record in developing go-to-market strategies that align with the long-term strategic plans of the company. You will be a passionate people person with empathy, drive and enthusiasm able to hit the ground running and drive the business forward.

The key responsibilities of the Marketing and Creative Services Director:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies that align with the long-term growth plans of the business
  • Working closely with the board of directors to plan the long-term vision of the company
  • Plan and deliver impactful marketing strategies and campaigns, tracking ROI and analysing results
  • Create and deliver on creative marketing briefs
  • Evidence the success of campaigns and report these to the board
  • Project management
  • Design and build new processes and procedures to help drive business forward
  • Manage, coach and develop a highly talented marketing and creative services team of approximately 10 people
  • Conducting strategic marketing analysis
  • Managing external creative agencies and retained partners
  • Developing personal development plans for each member of your team, providing support and guidance and sourcing top talent to join the business
  • Operating at a strategic level you will routinely share market trends and insights with the board
  • Demonstrate the company values at all times and embed inspirational leadership into the team
  • Develop an enviable company culture

The ideal candidate will have:

  • With a background in agency or client side marketing you will have a creative flair and clear understanding of the power of branding
  • A driven, dynamic, self-starter
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • A positive attitude and empathetic nature
  • At least 10 years experience in a similar capacity
  • Hands on management experience, passionate about growing and developing a team
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
