Market Rent Officer

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Market Rent Officer for a Housing Association based in Greater Manchester. This is a permanent role, paying £29,000 - £32,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role, with office attendance required roughly two times per week. Site attendance will also be required.

The role:

• Responsible for the tenancy management functions of a portfolio of market rent Properties, including lettings, tenancy management, and income recovery
• Responsible for the marketing and advertising of new lets and relets of market rent properties
• Attend and arrange property viewings, being proactive in persuading prospective tenants to sign up for market rent properties
• Arrange affordability checks for prospective tenants in a timely manner to minimise void loss
• Carry out periodic tenancy checks
• Manage end of tenancy process to ensure that properties are returned in a good state of repair with a minimal void period

What you need:

• Experience of working in a property management role
• Knowledge of the local property market - desirable
• Excellent customer service skills
