Seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead the market data function within their Market Access team.
About the Role:
- As a lead on market data feed team, you'll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the global market data feed systems, working closely with traders, researchers, and other teams, to ensure the smooth running and fast delivery of robust market data feed systems.
- The market data feed system covers all main markets across all regions; and supports various asset classes including equities, derivatives, FX, options, etc.
- Market data feed, along with trading gateway are the two areas of the Market Access team; the two functions have much overlap and share much synergy globally.
- You'll provide leadership and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, as well as hands-on development and conducting code reviews.
- You'll work with senior developers in optimizing and extending existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- You'll help in project management, working in close relationships with sister teams, as well as external providers, brokers, and exchanges.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Proven experience in market data feed systems at a financial institution.
- Strong programming skills in C++, proficient with Linux platform.
- Experience in low latency optimization and tuning techniques.
- Good knowledge of financial products desirable.
