Marina & Boatyard Operative - Port Solent Marina

The role of Marina and Boatyard Operative has become available at Port Solent Marina.

Working as part of a small, hardworking team this multifaceted role will include, but is not limited to, boatyard and lifting operations, duties on the pontoons and in the marina reception, carrying out general marina maintenance and contributing to site cleanliness and presentation.

A good knowledge of boats and experience driving plant would be a significant advantage but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service
  • Flexibility and adaptability to both marina and boatyard operations
  • Ability to learn and use computer software systems
  • "A can do" attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork

This role includes working outdoors in all weathers and includes some weekends and bank holidays as per a rota. A full UK driving license is essential.
