Position Available: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Henlow & Dynamic Working Hours
Salary: Up to £39,000 + Paid Overtime & Company Bonus & Very Good Pension Package + Subsidised Canteen
About the role
We are a leading defence company who are at the forefront of innovation in the industry and your work will have a direct impact on the safety and security of the UK & our allies. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to work in our team. In this role you will support the team in:

  • Ensuring manufacturing build times are met.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and a good housekeeping policy.
  • Ensuring compliance across all stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Communicating best practice to other team members.
  • Maintaining product certification and approval via regular audits.
  • Certifying products in line with product certification procedures.


What we need from you:

  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 is essential for this role.
  • Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate is a plus.
  • Ideally have manual handling training but not essential, training can be provided.
  • Ideally training (Including overhead cranes) but not essential, training can be provided.
  • The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus. They should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
