Are you a Manufacturing Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful projects?

Job Title: Manufacturing Project Manager

Salary: Circa £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience 

Location: Stevenage (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 2 to 3 days per week on-site, due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

  • Deliver manufacturing projects within fixed cost programmes

  • Collaborate effectively in a diverse and dynamic work setting

  • Interface and influence customers and suppliers

  • Brief senior management level on project progress

  • Manage project scope, identify deviations, and negotiate changes

  • Identify risks and opportunity trends within cost, schedule, and quality data

  • Effectively manage risks and seize opportunities through thoughtful and thorough planning

What we're looking for from you:

  • Proven track record in delivering fixed cost programmes within a matrix organisation

  • Experience in an engineering or production environment preferred

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and opportunities

  • Enthusiastic and proactive individual with excellent prioritisation skills

  • Experience in bid and estimate compilation

  • Familiarity with project planning software (e.g. Primavera or Microsoft Project)

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, with a strong command of Excel and other relevant software applications.
