Manufacturing Production Assistant

We are looking for an experienced production assistant to join our client’s well-established manufacturing facility in Glasgow on long-term, permanent basis.

Working Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday (45 hrs).

Pay Rate: £28,000 per annum.

Role and responsibilities Include:

• Support the Production Co-ordinator to ensure production plans are achieved within the agreed timeframe.
• Support the Production Co-ordinator to ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
• Manage and motivate a team of machine operators.
• Monitor performance, review training needs, manage attendance.
• Monitor stock levels ensuring traceability is adhered to.
• Ensures factory cleaning and maintenance is carried out

Essential skills and experience expected of candidates:

• Desirably, at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing environment
• Flexible and adaptable approach, with ability to see task through to successful conclusion.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
