Management Accountant

We are in search of a PQ Management Accountant who can manage financial operations and deliver accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Management Accountantwill include, but may not be limited to;

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and procedures.
• Analyse financial data and provide financial advice to the management team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and manage financial policies to improve operational efficiency.
• Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Not for Profit and Charities background.
• Ability to commute to Carlisle.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
