Management Accountant (Finalist)

Up to £55,000 (depending on relevant experience)

Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office.

London based.

Are you a commercially focused Management Accountant finalist looking to work for a leading transport provider? If you're ready to take ownership of challenges, drive solutions, and grow within a supportive team, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; SAP/SAP BI/SAP BPC knowledge preferred
  • Currently studying towards CIMA or ACCA - Finalist level preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&Ls for the Directorate and profit centres
  • Collaborate with Financial Controlling team for accurate cost and revenue recognition
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll & Pensions Teams for correct classification of payroll costs
  • Perform period end journal entries and maintain supporting evidence
  • Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce variance analysis and reporting to support decision-making
  • Prepare documentation for sales invoices and intercompany transactions
  • Oversee Purchase to Pay process and manage invoice allocation
  • Review and approve Purchase Order requisitions
  • Collate non-financial information for management accounts submission
  • Review and adjust provisions in line with company policy
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to the Finance Business Partner team
