Finance Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to present an exceptional opportunity with a reputable and thriving business located in Finningley, Doncaster. We are currently seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant to join their team and collaborate closely with the Financial Controller.

• Quarterly bonus

• Post all bank accounts into NetSuite daily to ensure reconciliation
• Raise sales invoices daily and inform the business of any errors on sales orders
• Chase cash and work with customers' accounts payable departments to ensure timely invoice payments
• Process purchase invoices daily, ensuring purchase orders match invoices and goods are receipted promptly
• Review and respond to queries
• Support the finance department as needed
• Raise weekly and monthly consolidated sales invoices
• Administer PayPal transactions and supplier payments weekly
• Ensure month-end closure aligns with business expectations and handle monthly Mastercard administration
• Conduct ongoing tasks: review suppliers for cost-saving, handle legal compliance, manage ad hoc projects, process credit notes, reconcile supplier statements, maintain ledgers, raise payments, and address supplier/customer queries

• Progress towards AAT
• Strong IT proficiency, ideally within Excel
• Desire for a long-term career in finance
• Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving situations
• Impeccable organisational skills and acute attention to detail
• Proactive approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
