Sheridan Maine is partnering with a London-based organisation to recruit a Management Accountant. The ideal candidate should be an experienced Accountant, preferably with some understanding of stock transactions and production processes.
The primary objective of this role is to generate monthly management accounts and other financial reports for Group Subsidiaries and Related parties, while also aiding in their preparation.
Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts, encompassing accruals, prepayments, stock/WIP records maintenance, and overhead variance analysis
- Aiding in annual budget and monthly forecast preparation, including production budgeting and monthly P&L/cash flow forecasting
- Contributing to statutory accounts preparation
- Managing subsidiary company accounting, including post cash receipts/payments and sales invoice review
- Compiling, reviewing, and submitting subsidiary VAT returns promptly
The successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
- Experienced Accountant with knowledge of stock transactions and production
- Strong academic background
- Proficient in IT, particularly with intermediate/advanced Excel skills—pivot tables, vlookup, and similar functions. Experience with Microsoft Navision is advantageous but not required
- Flexible and adaptable demeanour
