Management Accountant

An industry leading SME making a positive impact is on the look out for a dynamic, part qualified accountant to join their finance team based in Dudley.

You will be joining a brand which offers a professional, efficient quality service which embodies its values throughout the business.
Working closely with the Group Management Accountant you will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts for multiple entities within the group. Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 + study support.

Management Accountant duties

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the monthly management accounts, including preparation of month end working papers
• Revenue, debtor and creditor reconciliations
• Fixed assets including capitalisation of intangible assets
• Prepayments and accruals
• Bank reconciliations

Other

• VAT reconciliations and returns
• General administration including managing incoming emails
• Contributing to systems and reporting developments and improvements
• Contributing to process improvements and automation

Experience & Skills:

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• AAT part or fully qualified - desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
