An International retailer, based near Witham is presently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their friendly team covering a period of maternity leave (9 Months)

Working in their beautiful, rural offices the main duties of the Management Accountant will be:

  • Assisting FD in preparation of monthly management accounts (including calculation/posting of Prepayments/Accruals/Stock in transit/cost review)
  • Monthly submission of management accounts to group reporting system.
  • Additional submissions to group reporting system monthly and annually.
  • Weekly submission to group on sales/orders/stock/creditors/debtors
  • Inter company reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting journals
  • Managing lease reporting for IFRS
  • Posting of payroll
  • Posting of netting transactions.
  • Posting of USD payments.
  • Stock additions, check Purchase invoices match GRN’s, allocate on ERP system.
  • Preparation of top 25 debtors and overdue accounts report
  • UK VAT Return
  • Uplift Control Reconciliation
  • Production of various reports as required
  • Assisting with preparation of budget
  • Assisting with stat accounts and auditors

The successful Management Accountant will have come from a UK Finance/Accounting background, have experience of different ERP systems and ideally be part or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

Although beautiful, the office location is inaccessible via public transport, so you must be able to drive or have regular transport.

In return you will be joining a long-established friendly team with the company offering a base salary up to £40k plus benefits.
