Panoramic Associates are working with a Housing Association in Yorkshire to recruit a Maintanance Surveyor. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a thorough understanding of our property portfolio and delivering high-quality repairs and planned work that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a customer-focused approach to responsive repair and planned work, ensuring quality and value for money.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain comprehensive service delivery.
  • Provide technical support to non-technical staff and residents on building-related matters.
  • Assist in the development of improvement programs and estate repairs.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure project delivery adheres to policies and procedures.
  • Actively engage with residents to ensure their needs are met and complaints are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative systems related to property and communication.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, procurement, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead in the delivery of identified service areas within the surveyor role.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of property condition and local environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in building-related matters.
  • Experience in project management and budget oversight.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance and regulations.
  • Proficiency in data gathering and manipulation tools.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
