Maintenance Operative

A1 personnel are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Dartford.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the sites and surrounding grounds, logged on our PPM Schedules and periodic tables.
• Work closely and communicate effectively with Maintenance Manager to achieve completion of jobs, these tasks include plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting and decoration, carpentry, general site cleaning)
• Maintain a high standard if Health and Safety on site at all the times

Requirements:

• Multi skilled maintenance experience
• Forklift driving experience (preferred)
• Drivers license, with a clean record
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• Self motivated and very good organisational skills

Hours:

• Monday to Friday : 8am-5pm
• Flexibility required
